Blessed to be a Mom

It is such a blessing and so much

 FUN to be a Mom

everything about it

and very grateful everyday 

for such a wonderful handsome husband

 and amazing children

little one yells

{while you are in the bathroom}

 knocking on the door

you answer 

trying to have the calmest voice possible

 while you are thinking

 the house is on fire or someone is running with scissors

or cutting the curtains or even worse cutting someones hair

yes sweetheart

and you hear

I Love you

{sigh}

I Love you.... more

This always makes me smile

because it is so true

best gift ever is being all together
with the ones that you Love

 Life is filled with magic moments

Blooming Hydrangeas

Hi Everyone

 Happy Friday

♥

They are blooming !!!

The hydrangeas in the front garden have decided to bloom

 for Mother's day

{Love} 

the color's this year
They are blooming so early
 this is such a treat!!!

Do you remember the brick border that I made 

 using the bricks our neighbors were going to throw away?

It is wavy, uneven and looks like

 it has been there forever
perfect!!

Do you have a favorite 

color hydrangea?
This pink is beautiful

Here is the secret trick I use here  in California to get the different colors to bloom

I put small nails in the soil near the base of the hydrangea 

{be careful not to hurt the roots}

the iron in the nails helps to turn the hydrangeas purple and blue

 Can't wait to cut a few hydrangeas

 to bring inside for the weekend

This little white door knocker

it sits on our master bedroom door

It was a Mothers day gift a few years ago

It reminds me of  a vintage doorstop

This one is on our daughters bedroom door

She is

finished with her sophomore year of college in Texas

Having her home is the best Mothers day present I could receive

This is the card our son made me for Mother's day a few 

years ago.

It sits on my inspiration board and

  makes me smile every time I see it
