French Folding Table

There are  exciting changes

 happening here at 

White Ironstone Cottage

{Love}

 when a new vintage treasure finds its way into our home 

This beautiful chippy, rusty, yellow

 distressed vintage French folding table

 is now our new entry table

When handsome husband 

 found this table at a garage sale for $10

and brought it home

my original plan was to put it in our guest cottage
 as a desk

 but...

When the boys brought it inside the house

 it looked so pretty

 that we quickly rearranged 

the furniture 

we were surprised that it fit so well 

next to the front door

Fabulous chippy  yellow paint

loads of character

an amazing buy

 for only 10 bucks

 The previous owner was from Germany

 and said she bought this table at a

 french flea market 40 years ago

Decorating with vintage

 is a great

 way to save money ,while adding charm and beauty to any home

So excited to share with you

the pictures taken with my Iphone
this past weekend at

Rogers Garden 

They have amazing Eden roses right now
They remind me of peonies
with their row upon row of fluffy petals

Eden roses are a must have in your garden
they are a fabulous cut rose for arrangements
 and always a show stopper no matter where they are growing

Just look at these gorgeous blossoms

Rogers Garden had an outdoor table set up
for Flag day
  {which is this Friday}
 perfect for 4th of July fun too with
Red, White and Blue
details

Such a Cute idea to add
red and white gingham ribbon
 around the utensils
and white napkin
The ceramic plate and bowl are made to look like paper

Amazing ivy topiaries
{why do mine always seem to do so poorly once they get to my house}
