I hope you all had a wonderful

 Mother's day

We just returned home from our daughter's graduation

  at Texas Christian University last Saturday

 on Sunday the family was all together to celebrate Mother's day

{best present ever} 

 the fun continued as

beautiful daughter and I had a blast driving home
  from Texas back to California

grateful for a safe trip

We took our time and enjoyed the beauty of every minute

I am always in awe when we make this drive 

America is so beautiful !!!

We made it home just in time for 

Matilda's Mouse sale today in Valley Center

Just look at these gorgeous cabbage roses cascading over the front gate

continues this Saturday and Sunday too
If you have the time this sale is worth the drive
always fabulous vintage treasures
I have yet to come home empty handed !!!

Found this rusty, chippy repurposed holder
 perfect for the green house

 Gorgeous roses are blooming everywhere

The front entrance to the sale which is in a wonderful old barn
 looks inviting with
vintage watering cans and lot's of outdoor plants and flowers
the garden theme is perfect for this time of year

Vintage shopping trip

Last weekend I was excited

 to once again get the opportunity to photograph the
 LuckyStreet Productions
 sale
It was a fabulous feast for the eyes
Filled to overflowing with vintage treasures 

{Love}
 this beautiful beach inspired vignette

Such a wonderful array of colors and fun
 one of a kind vintage treasures as far as the eye could see

I have a few of these red and white checkered jelly jars
they look so colorful in this display
{Love}
 using them for picnics and also for left overs in the refrigerator

 Fell head over heels in
{Love}
with this adorable row of baby shoes

 They just look so sweet sitting
 all together on
  the front porch railing

This lovely and serene loft bed looked so inviting
 especially all covered with pretty pink
 shabby chic linens

   Just look at this beautiful lounge chair with its layer upon layer
of vintage lace doilies

This vintage Lavabo from France
 would look so pretty  filled with colorful
spring flowers

the intricate detail and faded turquoise charm

Pretty in Pink

These are such powerful words to live by 

This quote always reminds me to edit , to let go, to release 

My sweet friend told me yesterday that she had added to this quote ..... 

Things in your home should be beautiful, they should be unusual and useful

 and they should last forever

 I think this is why we all

 {Love} 

vintage treasures so much

They have already stood the test of time 

they were made to last forever!!!!

This kind and talented friend is helping me today

 we are having fun taking pictures of the

 new vintage treasures

 for the shop somehow

we keep getting side tracked though

taking pictures of these pretty blush pink roses

Friends are the flowers in the garden of life

 Grateful for such a great friend  

who always makes me laugh and totally gets me.....

Photo Shoot

Hi Everyone 

Happy Tuesday

 Mondays are always such busy days

 maybe its because Sunday is so peaceful and when Mondays come we hit the ground running again

This Monday was no different a crazy day filled with
 a  photo shoot 

It seemed as if the entire house was turned  inside out and into a party of pretty!

  A feast for the eyes

 everywhere you looked there were.....

 Vintage treasures  sitting on

 counter tops, floors, tables, ladders,buckets

everything was out to play with

Flowers everywhere as far as the eye could see

So fun to have so many people at the house moving things around 

why is it days like this always seem to go by way too fast

I was able to take a few shots with my camera too

Learned so much about lighting and  f stop  camera settings and
wide angle lenses

{do I sound like a pro}

I am grateful to be able to share some of the pretty of the day with all of you

I would never have thought to mix gorgeous pink blush roses with 

eucalyptus leaves

 a pop up sale is a sale where you don't
 know the time or date {sometimes even the location} until a week before the sale
and you get notice of the sale via email invitation
 The first one I went to was at Tricia Foleys general store

Hi Everyone

  for our dear friends daughters
 upcoming baby shower

~its a girl~
baby shower
The invitations have been sent....
flowers ordered....
ingredients for cupcakes bought....
pink and white lanterns ready to be hung....
excitement is in the air

This adorable vintage stork

looks ready to make a  special delivery
for our dear friend
He will be watching over the pink  and white polka dot cup cakes that will go
 in this wooden garden tool box
