This amazing white vintage rusty
cast iron plant stand
is from Texas
is from Texas
Our beautiful daughter bought it for me
and because it is very very heavy
and because it is very very heavy
it stayed in Texas
until our daughter graduated from College and we drove back to California
until our daughter graduated from College and we drove back to California
We were really lucky to be able to fit it in the car
The pretty vintage cast iron stand
was placed outside our home by the front door
was placed outside our home by the front door
until we could figure out where to put it in the house
The white stand has three cast iron hooks
that are adjustable and
stick out on three sides
The combination of rust and white cast iron
is a potent one for me
Today while outside pruning the rose bushes
there were two pink roses to cut
one was a new bloom and one was a mature bloom both so beautiful
for some reason they ended up on the cast iron plant stand
As you can see the vintage plant stand never made it
inside the house
It now has a little bit more rust
The best part is every time we walk
by the front door we can all see her thoughtful gift
{she has her own condo now and a great job too}
It always brings a smile to my face
A beautiful gift from our beautiful daughter who knows her Mom
oh so well

I love it! I have a table top one like it and I have painted my so many times. I now have it in my kitchen with my African violets on it. Mine has places for 4 plants. I got my at a garage sale about 20 years ago and I love it. I know that you really love yours and it looks great by your front door. Such a wonderful gift from your daughter. I think I paid less that $10.00 for it.

Oh, I love your rusty tinged plant stand, Pam. What a thoughtful gift from your daughter. It would look sweet with pillar candles on it too. (the battery kind for safety) :) Have a lovely weekend. It's -24 C. here but sunny. Your roses and warm photos make me feel much better in our cold. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely gift and photos. Yours caught my eye immediately when I linked up to Pink Saturday. I have a daughter too and cherish anything and everything she does for me.
ReplyDeleteLovely! Such a sweet gift and it shows that she knows her mama well.
ReplyDeleteHps!
It is beautiful, Pam. Almost as beautiful as the love with which it was given.
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday.
Beautiful all around! Happy New Year, Pam!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet and thoughtful gift from your daughter! So pretty, too.
