Hi Everyone
Happy Saturday
{Love}
this spot in our home
♥
When designing your home it is important to
carve out a quiet spot
a place where family can sit and read a book or look at magazines or just sit and relax
It is simple to do all it really takes is a comfy chair
Maybe a few pillows
and a warm blanket
I encourage you to find a sunny spot
where the sun can be felt on your shoulders or by a warm fire
Our spot is in the kitchen
When the family leaves the house in the morning I
{Love}
to sit in this chair with our sweet pug Finley at my feet
This is the view
from our comfy chair
♥
The room is filled
with morning light
and birds playing in the birdbath
A blissful way to start any day
Do you have a quiet spot in your home too?

ReplyDeleteMy comfy spot is "my end" of my comfy white couch in the living room!
The big white comfy chair in the master is all mine though!
Don't you think winter sun has a special warmth that is different than summer sun?
Outside over looking the garden. Another beautiful post my friend. Hope you have a lovely day.

Happy Pink Saturday, Pam. I love your quiet spot, and they view is priceless. I am an advocate of just these kinds of places in our homes. I have several places that I like to sit and enjoy the view.
ReplyDeleteDid you ever get by to see our dining room redo? I always think of you when I look at our built-ins. http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/2011/12/a-new-life-for-our-dining-room.html#comments

Your spot is beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteI have an OLD recliner in the LR that perfectly holds my old body and 1 cat :^)
I perch there and watch the world wake up each morning. If the kitty is not ready to get to work when I think we should, she wraps her paws around my neck, and hold on.....so....we waste a few more minutes ;^)
