Kauai

Hi Everyone
 Happy Saturday
{Love}
Kauai

Here are a few pictures taken with my iPhone of the Island
if you follow on instagram you may have seen these pics
The beach above is in Princeville on the North Shore
right by the St Regis hotel
This is one of our favorite beaches
 great for snorkeling and stand up paddle boarding
 It is one of my favorite beaches for shell hunting too
as you can see from the picture the water is super clear and warm
all year round

This is the historic little green Church in Hanelei
 called
Waioli Hui ia.
it has quite a history
but for our family it has wonderful memories
We have spent several Easter s here in Kauai and
 this is the church we attend
 it is so beautiful
{Love}
the vintage stain glass and high ceilings

  Many of the hymns are sung in Hawaiian
it is fun to try and sing along to the songs we all know and love
 after the service everyone walks to Hanelei pier and jumps in the ocean

There is so much beauty here
 the colors
 the flowers  the smells
 the clean air
the warm water
Kauai is a little slice of heaven

This is "our spot"
for the day
We have a wonderful routine
we get up have fresh papaya and pineapple for breakfast
take a long walk together
 get back and go to the beach
yesterday we were sup-ing
{stand up paddle boarding}
 it was amazing!!!
Grateful

 living aloha and
sending you all Hawaiian
sunshine

Be sure and follow on instagram for daily pic's

romantic saying for today

"It had to be you, wonderful you, it had to be you"

  1. As I sit here typing and watching the snow fall lazily from the sky - I am more than a little consumed with jealousy LOL

  5. Oh, do I wish I were there. I try to get my husband to move to Hawaii but I know I'll never get him off this farm.
