You just gave me a great idea.
ReplyDeleteI have a shelf with 4 ball jars attached that hang down below the shelf. I usually keep red, yellow, blue and green jelly beans in the jars. Right now there are different shapes, sizes and colors of candy hearts. After seeing your sugar, I think I will put colored sugar in 2 of the jars and candy in the other 2.
Thanks for the inspiration and Happy Valentine's Day.
Cant wait to see the jars with different colors such a great idea for easter too

So pretty---I haven't done that in a long time. I was thinking recently about making some solid-sugar Easter eggs this year, for it's been a LONG time. They're mostly just a more-liquid, then oven dried version of this in solid form. And with the leftovers, I used to let it dry thoroughly, then get one of the kids to gently beat it in a baggie with a rolling pin before we put it into a jar.
