White Ironstone

Hi Everyone
 Happy Friday
Vintage White ironstone
 casserole dishes
 have the most beautiful lids
this little lid has amazing detail
{Love}
the leafy handle and the pretty design around the edges
it has a curved dome shape
that makes it sit up high

The larger lid has a
delicate rosebud design
and the handle is large and easy to handle

Do you see their shiny luster

 and creamy  vintage patina

This Sunday is the Groves Antique Market
at the Great Park in Orange County, California

A great place to shop for beautiful
 Vintage White Ironstone
it is always the first thing my eye spots
when shopping
and the one treasure we always make room for in our home
What vintage treasure is the first thing your eye sees?

You mentioned Great Park in Orange County. Do you mean Orange County CA? If so I will have to check out that Antique Market.

  2. Gorgeous lids! It seems that is usually the part that gets broken or is missing. These are beautiful examples. Love all your beautiful white dishes- xo Diana

  3. Beautiful details on these lids. I've a whole group of lids to pieces of French faience that I've gathered through the years. They are interesting little pieces of history. Have a great weekend.

  4. I have been looking for a white ironstone lidded casserole for at least ten years. Yours are gorgeous. May I hire you as my dhopper?

  5. Love your covered dishes, really nice post. I have a collection of old ironstone but find it almost impossible to find any more pieces at our local antique stores.
