Care of Vintage White Ironstone

Hi Everyone
 Happy Wednesday
Do you know how to keep your
  vintage white ironstone
from turning yellow or losing its lustre

 The magic ingredient that
not only cleans and sanitizes your
 vintage white ironstone
it also will keep it creamy white
without stripping it of its natural lustre and shine
is
 good old 3% hydrogen peroxide
yes
 you know the one
 in the brown bottle
costs about one dollar you can even buy it at the grocery store

Warning
Please please please do not use bleach on your
 vintage white ironstone
I know many people say it works to remove stains but
bleach actually
EATS
the ironstone
and it will remove the beautiful lustre
forever
Once the lustre is gone
you can't get it back

You can also use white toothpaste to scrub your
vintage white ironstone
if you have tough stains

Simple solutions to insure your
 vintage white ironstone
 stays beautiful and will
last forever

  2. Luv that pitcher.
Hmm.. Nice. I have heard many things.. barkeepers friend(??) But I have been reluctant to try anything. Now I know... something we have at all times in the cupboard.
    Thanks for the tip :-)

  3. Pam- Don't laugh but when there are heavy stains INSIDE the piece I fill it with hot water and drop in those products made to clean false teeth- like Polident. It is safe and works wonders without damage. xo Diana
