To Paint or Not Paint

Hi Everyone
 Happy Wednesday
♥
This rusty  vintage metal 
egg collecting basket
 is a pretty combination of rust and charm
Yesterday this rusty yellow basket
was pulled from the paint pile
♥
Yes this  vintage rusty charmer was going to be painted 
 the bright yellow color 
and the black handle.....
{imagine a bee here}
 was a combination that just seemed to scream paint me
 ~white~
Because it was outside for sooo long waiting to be painted
the bright yellow color mellowed 
into  this  softer rusty combination

{Love}
Painting vintage treasures
but I do like
the rusty and pure
" as is "
condition of  vintage treasures too

Then again I could paint it white.......
Yikes
what do you think

    Looks like Im on my own..but PAINT IT!! But then my husbands tells people to keep moving, otherwise his wife will paint them white!! And my 4 year old says 'Mummy...you wont paint my toys white will you?' I love outside baskets white tho...

    I like it as is...and I love to paint things white. But I think it looks nice and rusty as is.

    Please, please don't paint it, it's perfect the way it is. You can't fake that patina and rust. Maybe much later down the road.
