Vintage White Lace

Hi Everyone
 Happy Friday
There are vintage treasures that are works of art
Vintage white lace pillows are the perfect example
Are You ready for another
~Vintage Shopping Test~
One of these white lace pillows is vintage
the other one is a reproduction

 Here they are
sitting on the white chair in our living room
with all their luscious lace
 ♥
The first pillow has a scalloped lace edge
that goes around the entire pillow
Very delicate and romantic lace
  ♥
The Second pillow has intricate lace details
  around the entire pillow too
Very pretty details and design
O.k.
Which one do you think is the vintage pillow and which is the reproduction
Pillow 1or Pillow 2

Do You Think you know the answer?

The First Pillow above is the vintage white lace treasure
All the lace was made by hand
it is simply gorgeous
The second pillow is made with battenburg lace which is machine made
it is very pretty and much less expensive

 both of them
 I really
{Love}
anything with vintage lace

How did you do, did you guess right?

  4. I guessed right, but I kinda cheated. I have a doilie in my shop that came from an estate that we cleaned out. I had to look closely though. Love it! Thanks for sharing. Love vintage laced linen!

What a nice way to start a Friday. Thank you. I guessed right. The handwork of the first one is just gorgeous. Though the second one is fabulous too. I would love them both as well.

  9. Hi Pam,

Just became the proud owner of a vintage white ironstone J & G Meakin coffee pot with matching creamer and sugar. The sterling colonial pattern. I love it.

    Love your blog as well.

  14. Lovely photos....My mom's 'hope chest' was full of these hand-crotcheted linens, and I figured I'd never use them, so I gave them away.....I am now kicking myself repeatedly!

  15. I had difficulty choosing because they
    are both very beautiful....
I read what joanne said as I had three
from my mom and gave them to my
daughter who gave them away because they
    were not her style.. ug!
    Lovely
