Those two ironstone pitchers you have on your intro page are gorgeous. So wish I could find some affordable ones like that.
ReplyDeleteSure wish I could go to that marketplace show this weekend. Doggone where were all these neat places when we lived in San Diego? Of course then I wasn't really interested in the things I am now. Too busy going to Pacific Beach, practically lived there and that wasn't easy seeing as how we lived in East County, Santee. I'm just a water nut.
Have you ever heard of Sterling Colonial English Ironstone, J&G Meakin of England? I have some bowls and saucers that I got at a yard sale one time while traveling with my ex-trucker husband. I love those darned things, they have a pretty little embellishment along the edges of the bowls and saucers. I've kept meaning to look up that maker to see if they're worth anything just for the heck of it. I have come to love ironstone for it's simplicity. Have a great week.
What a great show! I wish I could visit!
