Trash to Treasure

Hi Everyone
Happy Friday

We have a new addition
A beautiful  vintage corner china cabinet
I was not looking for one, I wasn't even shopping
This little china cabinet made its way to our home
via a friend who did not want it anymore
She and her Husband were on their way to the dump
she called me to see if we might want it
telling me it was in bad shape

This is funny because lately I have been in a
less is more mood {don't worry I don't think it's contagious} so I was hesitant
I almost said no thank you before I even got a chance to see it
but they came by the house and
  I fell in {Love}
 so petite
just look at the adorable detailing

Fit like a glove in the corner of the dining room
yes that is blue painters tape I am going to paint the cabinet
but gratefully  I remembered to take a few pic's
to show you how it looks before...
I can't wait to start painting
stay tuned for the after pictures

This truly is one persons trash is another's treasure!

romantic saying for today
"When I say the word "us" I think of the day we met and all the days in between and the belonging that begins and ends with you"
