Hi Everyone
Happy Friday
I have been seeing these all over the place lately
Do you know what it is?
It is a
European wall sink
♥
I bought mine at the Rose Bowl Flea Market in Pasadena
a few years ago
It is cast iron
and very
very heavy
This is what mine looked like
without flowers
European wall sinks
are a great treasure
just be careful
where you hang them
Make sure you attach it to a stud in the wall
The new trend is to hang them inside
bringing the outside in and using them for storage even in bathrooms
how cute would it be to hold all the necessaries
Where would you put a European wall sink ?

Hi,
ReplyDeleteI'm new to your site, very nice! I have one of these and never realized it was called "European Wall Sink". I think I was told it was called a lava bowl. :-) anyway, I loved your idea of hanging them in the bathroom with necessities, mine has flowers in it.

Hi Pam, love these lavabos. I have one but I know it's a reproduction, still love it. So pretty how you have it filled with flowers and ivy. Thanks so much for sharing these with us and linking up with VIF!

Love your wall sink!! How absolutely charming to have in a little backyard courtyard ~ or anywhere really! I think it would be fantastic in a bathroom holding guest towels too~ Soo sweet! Thanks for sharing this at Feathered Nest Friday! :)
