Vintage Enamelware

Hi Everyone

I am so grateful that you all like
testing your treasure hunting skills with me
Are you ready to
try again?

Here are two little
enamelware buckets
The vintage enamelware bucket is worth
$55 dollars
and the new enamelware bucket was
$12.99

This white enamelware bucket
says sand on it
and has black trim
I love this picture check out the drip of water on the faucet

The adorable red and white checked
enamel bucket
is pristine

They are almost the same size and shape

Do you think you know which one is
vintage
enamelware?

Are you ready

The red and white checked bucket on the left is the
NEW one
and the one on right is the
vintage
enamelware bucket

How did you do?

{Love}
the fact that the vintage bucket says sand
because we live so close to the beach

These vintage buckets are usually found in sets of three
and were used as containers for laundry soaps
this one is German and would have had
soda, sand and seife

  3. Because we spent three years living in Bitburg Germany, it was an easy guess for me. I love those and have a set of three in my laundry room. Enamelware is the best, Char

  4. I'm really into collecting enamelware these days. I can't wait until the warmer weather and the flea markets open! I do love your little buckets and I guessed right! I think it was the bit of rust on the bottom. ;-D

  13. I guessed wrong! They are both sweet and I've never seen one with writing on it before. I do have one that my daughter bought me but I think it's a reproduction - white with black edges.
