YESTERDAY.....

My Daughter and I went to the Santa Monica Flea Market.
I was so Excited I had money and my rolling cart. I was all set for a fun day of mad skills treasure hunting. Boy was I disappointed. First of all it was a long drive to get there, secondly it was very expensive and most disappointing of all we were done at 9:15 it was that small. I could almost laugh it was that bad.The only fun part was people watching with my daughter. It felt like we were at a concert.Very eclectic group to say the least.
I did manage to buy a few things but I won't go back again.
We did have fun at Rogers Garden in Newport Beach it is
always a treat to see all of the beautiful roses and flowers in bloom.
I will save those pictures for my next post.

Romantic White Wednesday

Hi Everyone

Happy Wednesday

This is a Wonderful and Romantic Restaurant in Point Loma 

called the 

Old Venice Restaurant

.We have been going to this beautiful place for years.

It is so pretty with its simple white table clothes and candles everywhere

.The Big comfy white slip covered chairs by the fireplace are a favorite spot on a chilly night.

They always have wonderful white flowers that smell as good as they look.

But The best part of coarse is the delicious food.
It is an Italian restaurant and the bread is so good you won't want to eat the rest of the dinner.Everything is yummy the pastas, the salads the desserts. This is my favorite spot for a romantic night out with my wonderful husband.
Doing this post has made me hungry.I love this salad so delish.

South of France Vacation?

The View from the Condo in Catalina on our vacation this past week. Every morning I took my cup of coffee and headed to the Beach to collect shells.

Catalina is beautiful and quiet and a great place to read a book, look for shells and soak up the sun.

There were alot of boats in the Harbor in Avalon. I love the red roof Victorian house that sits up on top of the hill. Vacations are Wonderful. I hope you are having fun too. xxoo

White Wicker Wonderful

I bought this White Wicker stand to hold flowers at my Daughters Christening. It has held flower arrangements at every Major and Minor party or event we have Celebrated for going on almost the past 20 years. Right now it is on display in my Dining room with an assortment of shells from the BEACH

that we seem to be adding to daily.

When I walk into the Dining Room it always makes me smile to think of the memories that are attached to this stand. Such Joy.Definitely worth the $40 dollars I spent for it.I remember it seemed like alot of money at the time. Birthdays, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter as well as Fourth of July (you get the idea) would not be the same without the White Wicker stand overflowing with flowers or shells.

Happy White Wednesday... alittle late.

I don't know where this week has gone.

There is alot of excitment in the air here at home. I will share with you the secret soon. All I can say is

Dreams really do come TRUE!!! I can't wait to tell you all I am so thrilled.........

And to top off the excitment My beautiful daughter found this wall hanging for me. It is so me. White, hearts and LOVE. I just love it and I love her. She is a Blessing.I am so grateful to be her Mommy.

I love spending every little minute I can with her.Thank You Lord
