Vintage Shopping Tip #7

Here is one of the vintage treasures we

 found at the Irvine Flea Market
It is funky, charming and full of possibilities

{Love}

 the simplicity and all the storage space

It would look great in the laundry room filled with laundry soaps

or even in a bathroom for storage

This little piece looks like it is smiling

A happy vintage treasure

The milk bottles fit perfectly in the bottom basket cute for

flowers too

This piece was being used for display by the dealer

 I asked if she was interested in selling it

She hesitated than said yes

I was thrilled

It never hurts to ask?

Don't be afraid to ask if a display item is for sale 

remember everyone selling items is there to make money 

 I know from experience that when asked most people will say 

YES !!!!

and even if they say no

give them your phone number and ask them to call you if they change their mind

Vintage Enamelware

Hi Everyone

 Happy Friday

♥

White and gray vintage enamelware funnels

that were found at the Irvine flea market last Sunday

{Love}

being able to use them as little vases for flowers

I put small glass jelly jars underneath the funnels

to keep the flower stems alive

  then placed the funnels over them and stuck the stems in the top of the funnels

this will look so adorable on our outdoor BBQ table tomorrow night 

I spotted the white enamelware funnel and asked the price

 when the seller told me
I asked if she had anymore enamelware pieces that were not on display

 she brought out the gray funnel

She said she had this gray ugly duckling funnel

 that no one had ever been interested in 

I made an offer for the two on the spot

 if you see vintage treasures you like from a seller 

don't be afraid to ask if they have anything hidden in the back 

I am grateful I asked

Irvine Flea Market

Hi Everyone

 Happy Monday

These three words can change your life forever 

~I Love You~

This past weekend was filled with Love, joy , beauty and celebration

oh !! and a little vintage shopping too

The Eden rose in our garden is blooming

 Like the

{Love}

 that was surrounding all of us
 at the Bridal shower on Saturday

Such attention to every little detail

 made this a  special day to remember

The white chocolate covered pretzels and the little cake pops 

were out of this world delicious

 {did not notice fruit was there LOL}

Just look at the pretty cake

 The Beautiful Bride to be with her Mom
 and soon to be Mother in Law

 The next day we ventured to the
~ Irvine Flea Market~

 for some vintage treasure hunting

So many fabulous finds
silver, vintage mirrors,lot's of burlap and more...

  the red white and blue

To get us all in the mood for the 4th of July 

the American flag

and red white and blue

 was proudly on display everywhere

Sweet peas

Hi Everyone

Happy Monday

These sweet peas smell so
 beautiful

 I wish there was a way for you to smell them too

We need someone to make a scent app for blogs

can you imagine?

We bought them at the
 Irvine Flea Market

It is still one of my favorite places to find vintage treasures
It is held the first Sunday of every month

They moved recently to a new location at the
 Orange County Great Park
It is easy to find just look for the giant balloon that looks like an orange

It was a great day perfect weather
{felt like summer}
 lots of vendors, great prices,

 plenty of parking and even a farmers market 

~Grateful~

They look pink in some of these pictures

 but they are actually the most amazing 

 lavender color

Sweet pea

 is the perfect name for such a sweet smelling flower

I put them in the crystal vase my Grandmother gave me when I graduated from college
She  {Loved}  sweet peas too
 Her garden was full of them
 the fragrance engulfed her entire house
Every time I smell them I think of her
I planted some in our garden this year and I
 can't wait  to pick a few flowers from our garden
in a few weeks
