Flag Day

Hi Everyone
 Happy Friday

Today is Flag day !
Proud to display our flag for all to see
we placed these Flags
on our front gate to celebrate
Memorial day as well as Flag day and they will stay there
 to celebrate
Fourth of July in a few weeks too

We just keep adding more and more
 flags around the house...

A few ended up in this vintage hand  crank ice cream maker
we will use it this weekend to make
home made ice cream
 for Fathers day

Home made ice cream is such a treat
and worth all of the work
the true meaning of patience is
waiting for the
 ice cream to be ready

Where ever we travel
 to search for vintage
  American Flags
big or small
Here are a few pictures I took at Matlidas Mouse sale last year
so excited their next sale is coming up June 21,22,23
they always have such beautiful vignettes

Just look at this fabulous gathering of
 Red, White and Blue
vintage treasures

We have several flags that would look great framed
dont you just
this gallery wall with vintage flags
{the chippy shabby bench is luscious too}

Simple and gorgeous
one huge flag
with another
 amazing vintage bench

Amy from Maison Decor painted this
patriotic bunting with chalk paint
the way it turned out
 looks vintage

romantic saying for today

"The one thing we can never get enough of is Love
and the one thing we can never give enough of is Love"

  1. I love our flag, and it is wonderful seeing others celebrate the history and meaning.

  2. Beautiful photos of all of the flags.
