Oh how I remember May Day when I was a child. The May pole was so fun. Love your blog and your posting. I am going to hand flowers on my fron door, maybe it really will bring happiness. Thanks for sharing. Karie
ReplyDeleteI think this is a sweet tradition. I once lived in a neighborhood where a lady placed May Day flowers on everyone's front door. The arrangements were in tin cans with bright green ribbons! :D

what a sweet idea! some friends of Gabi's ( the little girl that has cancer on my blog) came by her house while she was in the hospital and decorated the trees, yard and front door and left Easter baskets for Gabi and her sisters. Your post reminded me of that:) Happy Monday.

This tradition I had not heard of ... we always made little handcreated paper baskets & filled with flowers, then knocked on the doors & ran away to watch the oooh's & ahhh's when they found them.
ReplyDeleteLove this idea ...
Have a beautiful week ~
