White China Cabinet

Hi Everyone
 Happy Wednesday
This is our dining room
China Cabinet
We had to build a firewall behind our stove when we remodeled our kitchen
so I was able to design a built~ in china cabinet.  Space is limited in the room
and I knew we would not be able to fit a free standing china cabinet in the space.
The cabinet is filled with valuable storage areas and lots of little drawers .
It turned out so beautiful and is a
special space to show off my collection of Vintage glass
Wedding baskets

We had a Vintage Glass Wedding Basket
filled with flowers on the top of our
Wedding Cake
sorry for the bad picture glare

Every Anniversary
{love}
to fill the basket with the same pink roses and baby's breath that
filled the basket on our
Wedding day

I have so much fun
collecting these baskets
They come in so many different colors and sizes
Friends and Family are always on the look out to help me add to the collection

This is one of my Favorite baskets
When I found it my heart
skipped a beat

Being a Romantic these Wedding baskets
have a special place in my heart

  5. Pam, your collection of glass baskets is so cool! I *heart* them!!! I think wedding baskets are a neat thing to collect.

I collect picture frames made from salvaged wood and found objects. I love picture of my kids :D I also have a growing collection of hearts, but I did not buy many of them...most have been gifts from friends.

  6. Your display cabinet is so wonderful! I love how it showcases your gorgeous collection.
I saw your name on someone's blog roll this evening and had to stop by since white vintage ironstone is one of my most favorite things!

I too love your basket collection and the clear one that you love reminds me of one of the clear baskets made by a company I used to work with.... it's called L.E. Smith Glass Company. You should check out their website as they have several gorgeous versions!

I used to work on their catalogs when I was in my twenties working for an ad agency in PA!

Thanks for sharing your lovely home.

  11. Hi Pam, your China Cabinet is just gorgeous. And now I know that those are Vintage Wedding Baskets, I've seen them before but not known what exactly they're used for other than flowers. Very pretty!

  13. Hi, Pam! You've got a lot of informative & creative posts so why
not show them off at the Creative Bloggers' Party & Hop? My co-host
this week is Amber from Lucky Lees To Be.

This is a combination of linky party (where we can show off our
creations) and of blog hop (where we can follow as many excellent
bloggers as we like), hence the name Creative Bloggers' Party & Hop.
It's a great way to meet awesome creative bloggers like you and
increase your followers in the process.

All you have to do is 1) link up whatever creative post you'd like to
share - can be a DIY project, decor, photography, crafts, recipes,
poem, thrift finds, tips, or that informative syndicated post that can
make us laugh, or cry - in short, whatever you're proud of! 2) Then
follow as many blogs as your heart desires, preferably starting first
with the one before you and after you, and leave a comment to them
    that you're doing so.

You’re not required to include the party button – you read that right
    – not required to include the party button but if you’re so inclined
to display it in your blog or your post, you’re very much welcome to
    do so :)
