Treasure Hunting Test # 2

Hi Everyone

I am going to test your
treasure hunting
skills
today

Do you know what this little
~ sterling silver~
server
is for?

It has 3 spoons and 3 little cups
and a cute
handle
~
Have you ever seen one of these before
and wondered what it was for?

Right now it is carrying
a little white bunny

and this cheerful little yellow chick

The cups are removable and so are the spoons

It is a Victorian
sterling silver egg server
for hard boiled or pouched eggs...
Did you guess right?

I love how unusual this treasure is and
the beautiful details even the tiny ball feet on the bottom
~fabulous~

{Love}

to hide
Easter eggs
and little bunnies and chicks
in this treasure too

Happy Friday

  5. Pam, the egg holder is so cute, how fun would that be to have soft boiled eggs served in them on a Sunday or for Mothers Day...have a great weekend.

  6. My guess was egg cups but those spoons are enorrrrrmous!! Normally we use little tiny spoons for boiled eggs. Maybe the Victorians had funny egg-eating habits!!

    It's beautiful with the bunnies!

  8. Pam...it's fabulous and I can think of a million uses for it! And I am definitely going to be on the lookout for one. Wouldn't it be cute in the bath with q-tips and cotton balls in it? I have never seen one before. Love your blog and hope you have a sweet Pink Saturday. ~~ Lynn @thevintagenest
