Collecting White Ironstone

Hi Everyone

Happy Weekend

What do You collect?

I was recently asked why I collect
White Ironstone

I have been passionately collecting it for three decades
When I find a new piece I still get that little thrill of the hunt
{Love}
its timeless charm
{Love}
that each piece has its own creamy white shade
{Love}
the history and the durability

Vintage White Ironstone is so
versatile it goes with every decor
it holds its value from year to year and never goes out of style

Yesterday was
a fun day
I had special guests at the house
it was wonderful to dress
the
home
up with some beautiful flowers

This is my favorite vintage white ironstone pitcher
looking beautiful with
roses and hydrangeas

Love
the look of
vintage white ironstone
in my kitchen

Roses were at the door greeting the guests hanging in a old jar

Roses in a white enamelware pitcher
This week was special for Rachel Ashwell too
the grand opening of her
Bed and Breakfast

It is so adorable and I am sure
roses
and maybe a few pieces of
vintage white ironstone
were there to greet the lucky people
who were there for the grand opening..

  6. Pam, I love white ironstone! My Mom has a beautiful white ironstone pitcher that is older than her (she is 73). I collect green depression glass, but I would love to add some white ironstone pieces to my collection. I will have to work on that! Have a great weekend!

  8. It all looks so pretty, Pam. I can't remember a time that I didn't love white ironstone. In fact, I just love white.

    I always remember a gorgeous white ironstone bowl and pitcher on my grandmother's sideboard in her dining room. The bowl and pitcher had belonged to my great-grandmother. Now it lives on our dining room table. It is a forever treasure.

  13. Even when I know my prop library's three storage spaces need some serious editing, even when my budget is blown, even on those days when I am not sure if my debit card will clear to buy groceries for dinner...I will still say to myself..."I'll just stop in this Goodwill, and ONLY buy ironstone, nothing else" I am that addicted. Can never, ever have enough of that white, timeless stuff.
